Color serves as my motivation and inspiration on a daily basis. To make April’s springy mood board, I’ve been working on developing my color palette for ✨Jule Tones✨ that you can see in the background. I use both Landing Space and Pinterest for these reasons.

That’s also why I LOVE Pinterest (where all these images are from). In terms of mood boards, I am a huge visual inspiration person and this helps me keep top of mind my goals, on any type of basis, weekly, monthly, yearly. You can also link each image out to a website and add a description, so when you’re scrolling over the published board it could also be shoppable.

In the past, I’ve just used PowerPoint/Keynote or Canva and I can’t express how much more fun this is.

Already I’ll say their community team has been super lovely and their platform is free and really easy to use. 😉 Highly recommend Landing Space to anyone looking for a super fun space to digitally mood board and get all your thoughts out visually.

We'll leave you with this feel-good playlist full of sunshine-y, happy tunes.Spring is here, and with the seasonal depression lifting, I decided to try a website called Landing Space to make an April Spring Mood Board. Be sure to share your spring inspo with us on Visva!

We hope our little mood board has sparked some good vibes for the new season. This film will leave you feeling properly creeped out, but also kind of wanting to plan a trip to Ikea for some summery Scandinavian decor. Honorable mention: If you like your idyllic settings with a side of gore, you should check out Midsommar. A great way to calm your spring fever? Watch a film from the '90s set in the '70s about a bunch of kids on the last day of school! Spring can definitely feel like the preamble to summer, especially when you're looking forward to the end of this long, unusual school year. See the rest of the Vincent van Gogh collection at the Van Gogh Museum! 📽 Film So this spring, hit up some museums or pick up that new graphic novel and get your art on. It's intellectual and also purely emotional. Is art worthy because of the artist's intentions or the viewer's opinions? It's a little of both and also neither at the same time. The word "art" is great, isn't it? It's highly subjective and can include anything from a sculpture in your foyer, the yarn rug in your room, or an amalgamation of zeros and ones you can sell for millions of dollars. Whatever the mood, sing it loud and proud! Janelle Monáe is 🔥 🎨 Art Or maybe it's more like Pandemic Solo Dance, The Sequel. Lucky for us, spring is just the beginning of driving-with-the-windows-down-and-music-cranked-up season. Scientific research has proven that when we listen to music we enjoy, our brains release dopamine - aka the happy chemical. Don't forget to take your camera or sketchbook to document your observations! 🎧 Musicįor most of us, music is an instant mood booster. Want to add a little nature to your life? Take walk in a park or local trail, and use all your senses to experience your environment. We could create an endless number of mood boards about nature itself, but spring brings it to a whole new level.Īs the late, great Robin Williams once said, "Spring is nature's way of saying: Let's party!" A quick look out the window reveals trees unfurling new bright green leaves, backyard birds showing off their vibrant feathers, and flowers bursting to life in every hue imaginable. Spring is nature's big reemergence after a season of stillness and hibernation.

Nature is so awe-inspiring there isn't a single creative field, academic discipline, or profession it hasn't touched. The folks at Wes Anderson Palettes have created some lovely color palettes based on stills from almost every Wes Anderson film. You can also find color inspiration by revisiting some of your favorite movies. Or just take a look around and pick some colors that make you happy! Head over to Pantone or Color Hunt for inspiration. Looking to uplevel the color in your life? Try creating some color palettes. It's a such a welcome change that we reflect it in our everyday lives, from our clothes to our home decor. One of the most inspiring aspects of spring is the explosion of color found everywhere in nature. To celebrate the new season, we created a mood board encompassing different media and topics popular with the Visva community. A quick scroll through the Tribes list reveals an interesting and varied mix of communities. Whether it’s through creative pursuits, activism, or comic book fandom, we encourage our members to do their thing. At Visva, we’re all about self expression.
